Reading 4: Expelling violence in School

We have discussed in class about Expelling school violence by Carolyn MacCrron. Carolyn has studied bachelor in fine art in island school of design and then she took her masters in advertising and communication in N.Y and currently she is a vice president and a supervisor and a writer in communication art Magazine.

Nowadays violence in school had become very common especially in high school. Kids believe violence is justifiable means to an end, when they fell reduced by another classmate. But the problem is that parents and teachers are not always around so they cant control the kids before is to late, and the media reaches kids faster than anything, by sending hidden messages to the kids who watches TV cartoons.
I personally believe that this problem is our responsibility as a graphic designer and visual communicators. And the solution of this problem may offer awareness campaign for kids in school and for their parents.
